This policy is designed so everyday users, administrators, and enterprise customers can easily understand how their data is treated across SensorTree platforms, devices, dashboards, and APIs.
This policy applies to all SensorTree users, including operators, administrators, customers, partners, and visitors who interact with SensorTree services in any capacity.
SensorTree collects only the information required to operate secure, reliable, and compliant services. This includes account information, device identifiers, system logs, IoT telemetry, usage data, and location data when enabled.
Data is used to operate the platform, secure systems, display dashboards, trigger alerts, support automation, improve performance, and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies help keep users logged in, protect accounts, remember preferences, and understand system performance. These tools are essential for enterprise security and reliability.
Where required by law, users may manage cookies or request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Some features may not function properly if tracking technologies are disabled.
SensorTree shares data only with trusted service providers who support platform operations such as cloud hosting and security monitoring. All partners are contractually required to protect your information.
SensorTree operates globally. Data may be processed outside your country of residence, but legal safeguards are applied wherever data is handled.
Data is retained only as long as necessary for business, legal, and security purposes. When no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
We use industry-standard controls including access restrictions, encryption, monitoring, and audits. While no system is perfect, protecting customer data is a top priority.
SensorTree provides tools and platforms, but customers remain responsible for how those tools are configured and used. SensorTree is not liable for misuse, misconfiguration, or decisions made based on system data.
Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under laws such as GDPR (EU), CCPA/CPRA (US), or India’s DPDP Act. SensorTree respects these rights and provides appropriate mechanisms to exercise them.
This policy works alongside SensorTree’s Terms & Conditions, MSA, SLA, and DPA. If a conflict exists, the strongest data protection obligation applies.
